I am struggling to take a lot of positives from covering a spread against a team that let up after the first quarter. If memory serves they were on pace for 84 points after the first quarter ended.
Do you honestly think Boise, after getting their asses handed to them the week before, gave up after one quarter? That is as bad as another poster on this board suggesting that Boise rested some of their players. They had a couple guys out with injury.....but nobody got rested.
This place is a joke.
Why is that? Because somebody expressed their opinion, and you don't agree? I don't get the venom of some (not saying you necessarily JimmyDimes, but others like Poke Em certainly) when it comes to not agreeing, or posting an opinion about a UW athletics topic. That is what message boards are for...discussion and opinion. To say "this place is a joke" makes me scratch my head (again), and wonder if some posters just want the Kumbaya-effect to take over.
And after watching the entire Boise vs. WYO game, start to finish, I think Boise looked uninspired, flat, and more interested in running out the clock than anything, especially after the first quarter.
Didn't McNichols get the most carries (33) he has had all year...against us? Pretty good indicator they (Boise) were managing the game to get out with as fast as win as possible.
