These players may also have family reasons for making these decisions (such as a grandma with health conditions living at home) so I’m not sure it is fair to criticize. I’m hopeful we will have everyone but respect the right of any player to decide for themselves.LanderPoke said:ragtimejoe1 said:If they have conditions that potentially predispose them to bad cases of COVID, then probably a smart move. They may have to live their entire lives in a large plastic bubble. Tragic.
As has been discussed, the players are likely to receive far better care and attention here in Laramie then wherever they will spend the season. They will be safer playing football this season. Since everyone is so concerned about their safety. Not to mention at their age there is no reason for them to be afraid of the virusOrediggerPoke said:These players may also have family reasons for making these decisions (such as a grandma with health conditions living at home) so I’m not sure it is fair to criticize. We're going to see a lot of young players play. Maybe even some true freshmen.JimmyDimes said:laxwyo said:Byrd and Weber plus 3 other defensive linemen. Even if the O takes a step forward, the D probably won’t have enough depth.
Some tough losses for sure. Luckily we do have some depth on the Dline (I'd guess we have a solid two deep along the Dline with other returning players with playing experience).
Hope to see these guys back next year.
