I'm not exactly sure why, but this gets me pretty excited! Something tells me we'll see some pretty cool things on Saturday... please?

I don't think this has anything to do with putting in any new/trick offensive plays. I think its a shot at trying to get these guys focused. Execution has been very poor on the offensive side of the ball so far this season and it has been our achiles heel late in games.

TCU will be looking for a 2nd straight shut out and a dominating performance for those "style points". I don't expect to win this game, or even for it to be close, but I would love nothing mor than marching down the field on our very first possession and ending their shut-out dream.

I'll bet Arroyo is installing the Veer and English is going to a 3-5.

Who was the KOOK that installed that at UW...early 2000's (Vic's Days) right? That was a time in cowboy football that I purposely drank myself into not being able to see the field. For good reason.

I think you're thinking of Manny Matsakis and the Triple Shoot! Honestly, we should have kept it just for Air Force. Worked great against them, not so much against anyone else.

RIGHT YOU ARE. That was unreal. We were the laughing stock of college football. And not because our W/L record sucked.

The Poke's went 7-4 with that offense that year beating AFA,BYU,UTAH. Bill Walsh of S.F. fame called it one of the more innovating offenses he had seen in a while. I thought it sucked also, except against BYU, they never knew what hit them from the first play on

What a great night that was. I couldn't believe it was real. Kofi Schuck, on the popout...over and over and over again. We beat the doo-doo out of those boys.
