Dayton Game

Dayton leads 22-8 early. We look severely outmatched. Hope we can figure something out.

Dayton is bigger and has a big man who is a real talent. Plus, we can't get open looks. Everything is contested. This one is over.

We look lost on offense. Off balanced deep threes is what we are left with. Without an inside presence, teams like Dayton will destroy us.

Unlike last game, ball movement (and player movement) seems hesitant. Also took a while to double team their center.

Painful game. Bought in we would be a team on the national radar but was wrong. At a loss for words how sideways this season is going.

Sorry to say , but we have one, one. One high level player. That is Reynolds. Maldo looks messed up from the concussion. Team is a mess. Wenzel can’t bring it night in and night out

Maldo got way too many minutes. He was sloppy with the ball and was ineffective in generating offense.

DuSell and Oden deserve more minutes. And if we are getting our ass kicked against an athletic team, why the heck is Max not getting playing time? Him and Oden could have helped neutralize Dayton’s inside presence.

Overall, we look like one of the worst teams in the MWC. Without Ike, I think we are only better than Fresno and AF.

So, just like every other game this year and tournament game last year. I was watching Bills game and Gamecast hoops game and "Maldonado missed Layup" popped up more than I would like.
