DAVE CHRISTENSEN HAS LOST HIS DAMN MIND

This is really quick but:

1-Any rant that starts with a random "FUCK YOU" delivered to someone off-camera before the action ever really gets going is already working on a perfect game in the seventh inning.

2-It gets even better when Christensen delivers the first face-to-face "fuck you" to Calhoun while still shaking his hand, since he is clearly determined to make this entire process as confusing for everyone as possible.

3-NICE ETHICS MAN is the new "Don't Tase Me, Bro!" T-shirts are being made as we speak.

Every time DC opened his mouth in this 30 odd second video, a verbal pearl seemed to appear. And I can't decide which line I like best. But the "Nice Ethics Man" is great just for the irony of it. Ethics are the moral principles that govern a persons behavior. Here he is preaching about ethics using a string of profanity and attempting to bully a fellow coach at a sporting event. Nice ethics Dave.

I also like the Howdy Doody comparison as long as the ghost of Buffalo Bob doesn't come back and sue the University for copyright infringement.

Wooooooooooooooo!!!!

I gotta be honest, the more I watch this the more I see Calhoun egg it on. You can't hear what Calhoun is saying but you hear his voice and it gets DC going again. After DC calls him a puss DC is walking off and Calhoun follows and says something, and DC starts again. Then DC keeps walking towards his locker room and Calhoun who was walking away starts walking back towards DC, that's when it really exploded and you had two assistant coaches (one Wyo and one AF) pulling both coaches apart. Also, for everyone who apparently listens to this in detail, it makes me wonder about their credibility to the situation and their opinion of it when they ask, "And who is the female (or lady, or girl) who gets in between the two of them. You can hear very clearly, her saying, "Dad! Dad, stop! Come on!" If you can't even pin that one down, what makes your opinion worth it? And then she even looks towards Calhoun and tells them to stop. Obviously DC was more booming and boisterous, but Calhoun was apparently saying some things as well.

This rant has got me amped up. Not saying it was right. But, after watching this my wife and I started making plans to go to the Wyo-AF game next year in C-Sprgs. I think this just amped up the rivalry.
The one thing I appreciate is the fact that finally (not in the best way) someone called out one of the military schools. All of them are known for antics on the field. And AF is especially known for chop blocking. And they get away with it on almost 98% of every play. I watched the AF-Mich game and a similar situation happened there that happened in Wyo's game. Dietz is coming off the field and apparently becomes injured more than half way to the sideline. It does make you wonder.
I think you can fake an injury and make it legit. Wyo did it against UNLV in Vic's last year when we lost 48-49. He had Casey Bramlet limp off the field, not stopping play, not interfering with the clock, Bramlet limps off and we bring in our Back up (Honestly, I can't remember his name Hetrick maybe) Wyo had a designed play that was supposed to throw the D off and make them think run and Hetrick bombs it down field to a wide open WR for a td. That I think is legit. Two years later the same two QB's and a different coaching staff do it again in WYO's Vegas bowl win. They fake a Bramlet injury, he limps off and Ian Hetrick comes in again, this time it is a pitch sweep to an RB who throws reverse field to a wide open Hetrick running down field. I even think Walsh started calling Vegas "Ians playhouse, or something of that nature, because it was so off the wall it was successful. It never stopped play, and it kept the timing of the game going. Is it a ruse? Yes, but it doesn't affect the timing of the game. And timing is everything. While Dietz was being "attended" to, they brought their offense together to regroup after being stopped 3 straight times by Wyo's D. Massive momentum for Wyo. AF then "fakes" an injury regroups and refocuses which evens out the momentum. If you noticed after three straight stops the crowd was rowdy the players were rowdy and ready for whatever was going to come. AF takes that momentum away. The crowd quiets back down, and the players are not as amped up as they were the previous three plays.
Looking at it from a coaches perspective, I see the affects.

I hate going to the Academy for games (been 3 times) never really been a fun time, last years wind tunnel, but in 88 that great comeback, but it'll be many years b4 I go back there again.

I went there, I think in 99. AF was in the top 15 and we were considered on the cusp of the top 25. We won that one 10-7. That was intense. 52,000 at that game and the 3,000 Wyo fans were the loudest.
