had a bad feeling about this game. Coming off a good game against Texas Tech, fairly long layoff, and our first time seeing a team that runs a zone defense.

They need to make adjustments at the half or they may lose this game.

The foul calls are amazing. I see Wyoming aggressive but the contact seems to be questionable at times both with calls and non calls.

Couple of things.

Why did Sonny start a different starting 5 today? Wonder if it’s because he plays everyone anyways and was just letting another 5 start or if some guys were in trouble with him for some reason. Also Gores only played 1 minute it says. So wonder what is up with all of that? Maybe nothing.

Second thing, we seemed flat after that big game at Texas Tech. Glad they got it going the last 10 minutes of the game. The fouls for 3/4’s of the game seemed to be very disproportionate.
At one point they had shot 20 free throws and Wyoming had shot 6 and they had 7 fouls on them and Wyoming had 17. Looks like it evened up a bit.

Glad we got the win.

They played much better in the second half. It’s a fun team to watch when they get the uptempo flow going. This team is much better than last season’s team. I will be going to a few games once conference play starts.

In the post game interview coach said some of his players were the walking dead with the flu this week. Several had IVs this morning.

Okay good info. Makes a lot more sense then, why different people started and some didn’t play as much and took them a while to get going. Having to play with the flu sucks. Great win playing through that then.
