Daniel Reynolds wins national title

His national title in the weight throw is Wyoming's first T&F national title in 20 years -- since Shauna Smith in 2005 -- and I believe makes him only the third Wyoming male to win one (the other two were in 1974 and 1996).

Reynolds wasn’t satisfied yet. Instead, he threw a personal best of 82’ 3 1/2" (25.08 meters) to shatter the previous NCAA Indoor Championship meet record, previously set by Wisconsin’s Michael Lihrman at 80’ 10 1/4" (24.64 meters) in 2015. This title-winning mark would also tie the No. 2 throw in collegiate history.
