Want them or not, looks like BSU and all of it's, uh, "lovely" fans may end up staying in the MWC. Either that, or they will have to pony up $7.5 million to go to the Least. They have until tomorrow night.

My bet is they are leaving and will be forced to the WAC. I say wait until they try to get SDSU to reform the "WAC" with such standouts as Utah Valley and Grand Canyon (for profit school), then the MWC should invite NMSU (which basically will force Idaho to the Big Sky).

That's what most have suggested.....most logical approach. But nothing has really happened.....deadline is tomorrow night, the media is getting its last 2 cents at the end of the work week.

I think BSU came to the same realization we all did, A Playoff system is great but unless your in a big conference you aren't going to be invited to play.

However I wouldn't be surprised to see them exit late and pay an additional fee.

what if usu and sjsu invitations were based on the assumption that sdsu and bsu were not coming/staying put? have either one of you seen the signed, sealed, and delivered contracts? those two schools seemed not really needed if sdsu and bsu could being staying in the mwc?
