I know everyone is starting to get hyped on the possibility of a bowl game...but just wanted to caution everyone. Wyoming could be the step child again...and on the outside looking in. We have to get a minimum of 2 wins (remember, if a team has 7 wins, they are automatic over a 6 win team). Wyoming faces a very good Air Force team and CSU. LIke them or not, CSU is showing signs of being pretty dam good. BUT, after watching Utards and BYU, I honestly think they are beatable...

Agreed, 6 wins doesn't mean a bowl game. In fact, if you remember 1996 - 10 wins doesn't necessarily mean a bowl game (although much has changed since then). In 2006 we were the obvious choice to go bowling (3rd in the MWC, but only 6-6 thanks to Aric Goodman) but NM bowl picked Lobos over us even though we beat them in NM. That stolen bowl game has much to do with my distaste for NM. We shouldn't waste time worrying about it now (trust me I will complain for years later if we do get screwed again-no I don't hold a grudge), we need to focus on stopping the AFA offense and getting win 5 before we worry about anything else. BUT, it does feel good to have Wyoming and Bowl in the same sentence again!

I agree. This team has a long road to a bowl game. With the remaining schedule, if the Pokes get to 7-5, they definately deserve a bowl. If they get to 6-6, they have still had a hell of a season but it won't look good losing 4 of the last 6.....long road ahead but who knows. With the schedule, it would be a real possibility to only win 1 more game. Any more than that and I am totally pshyched about this team.
