CU @ UW

Wyoming's only games that they should even have a chance at losing in OOC play would be either at SMU or at Cal as both of those will be tough road games. All of the home games after what I watched today should be wins including games with New Mexico St. and Denver. So at worst I see us going 11-2.

This is my thinking.

That is why I said 10-3 I will be mad.
11-2 is okay.
12-1 is good.
And 13-0 is what we SHOULD be.

And someone thought that was comical.

Don't blink though, because Wednesday night we will be 5-0. Hoops season is about in full swing!

I've never counted my chickens , but I've never been so excited for a basketball season. Conference is always tough. Road wins were almost impossible

This stat is just ridiculous. Wyoming through 3 games has 72 made baskets and 64 assists on those made baskets. Keep doing that all year and they will be tough to beat.

Just looked on team rankings.com and Wyoming was 1st in the country in effective field goal % after 2 games and I am sure they didn't hurt themselves today either with all of the dunks they had.

Also first in true shooting percentage

No one picked Wyo to win this game at least that I have see anyway, Everyone thought the Buffs had turned the corner after the beat down they gave Auburn.

Also, Anyone else think Hankerson has completely done a 180? He was so timid last year and this year he is full of confidence.

Yeah I agree Hankerson looks a lot more like the player he was recruited out of high school to be. Of course playing for Coach Shyatt seems to do that with most guys, he just brings out the best in them. Love coach Shyatt.

What a great start to 2014. If you would have told me that we would have beat CU by 23 in Nance's third game back, I would have thought you were crazy.

That was great team basketball today. I'm eagerly awaiting the next game.

Most exciting part is we have 6 players off the bench contributing this season so far. Last year our starters were averaging between 22 and 35 mins per game. So far this year between 22 and 29 mins. Those extra 6 mins will mean a lot as the season winds down.

It is great to see some depth. I also agree that hankerson has surprised. We really needed him to compete and he's exceeded so far. And paying his way, amazing

Right now he is an assist machine.

This win is going to result in Wyo getting votes for the Top 25.

The game was in the day, voters saw, or heard about it. CU was getting votes in both polls and was just barely outside in the AP.

It was an absolute shit show of a game (in the good way for once!) and college hoops personalities, the ones with the twitters and such have taken notice.

Wyo should be getting votes really soon. Might take a couple weeks to crack the polls, but the votes SHOULD come in.

It is still comical, even after that amazing display of basketball that I witnessed yesterday in the AA.

Let me explain to you something called probability. Let's say Wyoming has a 95% chance of winning each and every of it's next 12 games. That's unrealistic but for the sake of being generous let's use that. Wyoming's chance of going undefeated, even with a 95% chance of winning the next 12 games is only 54%. If you even drop that down to 90% favorite to win the next 12 games the odds of going undefeated drop to about 28%.

Now I have been trying to remain, skeptical? Realistic? But after witnessing that beat down yesterday I am as on board as the next fan and think this is clearly the best Wyoming team we have had in a dozen, and maybe last 25 years if things go right. But to say SHOULD BE UNDEFEATED is a little much IMO.

Should be undefeated is pretty crazy. Everybody has an off night. Those road games are tough, we'll be hard pressed to beat cal and SMU
