I think everyone saw this coming from a mile away. CU does not want to go into the PAC 10 limping with this guy at the helm. He can now go coach intramurals :D

Brady Hoke should be a hot commodity soon....

Hoke is a smart man. Not the greatest D1 coach (took him something like 5 years to post a winning record at Ballsack State)...but he surrounded himself at SDSU with top quality assistants:

Brady Hoke - Head Coach/Defensive Line
Al Borges - Offensive Coordinator
Rocky Long - Defensive Coordinator
Jeff Hecklinski - Assistant head coach/running backs/recruiting coord.
Dan Ferrigno - Assistant Coach - Tight Ends/Special Teams
Darrell Funk - Assistant Coach - Offensive Line
LeCharls McDaniel - Assistant Coach - Wide Receivers
Brian Sipe - Assistant Coach - Quarterbacks
Mark Smith - Assistant Coach - Linebackers
Tony White - Assistant Coach - Cornerbacks
Bob Lopez - Director of Football Operations
Mike Schmidt - Graduate Assistant - Offense
Chase Thurston - Graduate Assistant - Defense
Aaron Wellman - Football Strength & Conditioning Coach

I wonder what SDSU's coaching salary budget is compared to ours. I'm sure it's bigger, but why is it bigger?

Their school is abut 5 times larger than Wyoming, if I remember correctly. Which should mean bigger over-all budget for certain things. Could be wrong, but that's the way it looks to me.

Hard telling right now, probably somewhere in the West as an assistant at an FBS program, or maybe a FCS HC...

They save money by not having their own stadium also.

Are you kidding me? They lose money (and a lot of it) by not having their own stadium. They have to pay the city of San Diego to use the Q.

I don't know if it's this way at UW or not, so perhaps someone could elaborate, but does UW have to pay rent for the War? Here at Montana the athletic dept has to pay rent on Washington Grizzly Stadium.

The War is on Campus/niversity owned property, so I would assume they would not. Maybe fullback could offer more insight to it.

WA-Griz is also on campus here at Montana but the AD has to pay rent to the U to use their own facility.

No, they do not pay rent for the War.
