Just making sure if anyone is still in need of tickets for this weekend that they saw the link I posted above. 50% off promo through CSU. Much more palatable price.

If CSU comes to Laramie in 2027 for football, then I take back what I said. That would be a sensible agreement (pending details).Timely email from the UW AD that just hit my inbox:
LARAMIE, Wyo. (Sept. 2, 2026) – Wyoming Athletics in conjunction with Colorado State Athletics announced on Wednesday an agreement to play the Border War contest in four sports that includes men’s and women’s basketball along with soccer and volleyball. The eight-year pact will start during the 2028-29 season.
The two schools will meet in all four sports this season and once again in 2027-28 before the pact announced on Wednesday starts during the 2028-29 campaigns. The dates for contests will be mutually agreed upon on a later date. Both schools are working on an agreement to play the Border War in football in 2027.
“We are thrilled to be able to get this scheduling agreement done with Colorado State,” UW Director of Athletics Tom Burman said. “It is in the best interest of both schools; we are 65 miles apart and have a great rivalry and I’m excited to see it unfold into the future.”
The Cowboys will host the Rams in men’s basketball in 2029, 2031, 2033 and 2035. The Pokes will then play contests against CSU in Moby Arena in 2028, 2030, 2032 and 2034. The teams are set to play this season in Fort Collins on December 11.
The Cowgirls will host Colorado State in women’s basketball in 2029, 2031, 203 and 2035. UW will play in Fort Collins in 2028, 2030, 2032 and 2034. The two teams are scheduled to faceoff this season on November 13 in Fort Collins.
Cowgirls Soccer will welcome the Rams to Laramie in 2029, 2031, 2033 and 2035. Wyoming will play in Fort Collins in 2028, 2030, 2032 and 2034. The two teams are set to play on September 17 in Fort Collins at 7 p.m.
Cowgirl Volleyball will host the Rams in 2028, 2030, 2032 and 2034. UW will head to Fort Collins in 2029, 2031, 2033 and 2035. The Cowgirls will face the Rams this season on September 12 in the UniWyo Sports Complex at 7 p.m.

If CSU gives us a home game without us having to give up another home game (or anything else) then it is basically a wash IMO.I won't take back what I said! This years arrangement is dogshit. Burman screwed us, no matter what happens in the future. We lost a home game, with home game income, to travel to and help a school that essentially told us to go fuck ourselves.
The release Mr T posted states they are working on a 2027 game. If it is not in Laramie or if we give up something additional to csu, then there should be an absolute wiping of the current athletic department. We will see if this comes to fruition and the devil is always in the details.Still can’t believe we play there in football this year, take a year off and play there again in 2028. Tom Burman is a joke
I’m sure it will be in fockco, if it even materializes at all. Or a zero week neutral site in Colorado, or something dumb. I really can’t even imagine. It will be Tom’s last parting gift to us. A way to give us one last middle fingerThe release Mr T posted states they are working on a 2027 game. Sounds like Wyoming and CSU are trying to adjust their Wisconsin and CMU games. Wyoming would get the home game.I’m sure it will be in fockco, if it even materializes at all.
