Well, that sucked. Although I imagine Burman and Sawful thought it would be a walk in the park after last year's route. That's likely why they suckered us into a week-one-away rivalry game. Then they made no adjustments after a complete overhaul of the CSU coaching staff and players. Just like our in-game adjustments...
Watching the pre-game border-war festivities, our coach looked totally lost in the bright lights, while Mora had poise and embraced the moment. Sawful probably asked the Moras for an autograph...
The game - - we seemed to have no fire from the start.
Undisciplined from the beginning to walking off the field. For a third-year team/program, the first kickoff is out of bounds, wtf.
Not sure if they were fast, but we looked slow. Slow everywhere.
I thought we might have a chance in the third. But the ol' reliable Sawful, Koening, and the end-of-the-Glenn-and-Christiansen-era team showed up to seal a win for CSU.
Can't wait to hear the 1240 crew polish this turd this afternoon, then tell us what we should have seen, and oh, how great we will be against UNC. Pathetic what we have become after competing with Utah, BYU, TCU, AZ, ASU, etc., and now we are an unknown, obtaining an increasing share in a declining market.
And why is it that when the TV pans to our coach, it looks like he's sucking on lemons, having a temper tantrum... Ugh
