Who's watching and does god actually make us root for CSU today?

I doubt we win out with all these close games so we need some teams to beat boise. They have two games against CSU, @UNLV and Utah St and Nevada at home. The clearest path to the NCAA is an outright win of the regular season. We could do it by winning out but it'd be nice if we had some breathing room. Ideally they'd split with CSU and drop another but they've been as good as us with close games. What say you?

Boise kind of got fucked there after they stripped CSU. Still, I can’t believe how Boise hits every big shot they need

Boise got lucky that Xavier and Foster didn't play in Boise. Injuries are a part of the game. Boise couldn't deal with losing a starter and gave up a home game.

We'll see how it goes down the stretch, but I think we've got the best leadership we've had in Laramie at least since Shyatt, Nance, Adams, and Grabau were here. Our staff and Maldo aren't going to let us get big heads over a top 25 ranking.

Tuesday night is a huge game and the Pit will come out in force for a top 25 Pokes team.

A regular season champion from the MWC isn't guaranteed anything in the NCAA Tournament. Only the MW Tournament Champion is guaranteed a ticket to the ball.

A regular season champion from the MWC isn't guaranteed anything in the NCAA Tournament. Only the MW Tournament Champion is guaranteed a ticket to the ball.

Has an outright MW champion ever been excluded from the NCAA tournament? I know we were excluded as Co-champions after we shit out in the conference tournament and ended up in the NIT. You're right, it's not guaranteed but an outright regular season title all but guarantees it and is our easiest path now, especially after Boise loss. Maybe there was a time when a team without NCAA tournament resume won the conference tournament and bumped the regular season champ? The MW would have been terrible that year if it happened.
