the writing is on the wall. listen to what Tom says. he knows and so does Joe.

"The best thing we can do as a coaching staff is keep our guys here with our kids, hug them up and make them feel good. Quite honestly, if we don't do something down the stretch there might not be another year from us." - Joe Glenn

A couple things. He says that the coaches need to stay in Laramie and hang with the kids? In the article he says that maybe they need to go home for a couple of days to get away. How can you do both? Hugs and making them feel good aren't going to win games coach!

At least Joe knows that there is a good chance he won't be back. Where is the cheerleading?

God, we are a mess!

This is actually becoming quite a Cohen brothers-esque dark comedy. You've got the main man blathering about who knows what and backpeddling and then trying to get tough and move forward and then each and every Saturday it all blows up in his face. I can't help but laugh when our head coach says something like: "We don't need to be out on the road recruiting somebody that I don't even know." This, right after he says: "We used this week to get to the fundamentals of the game, and it's been awesome." An awesome fundamentally sound 2 days of practice 6 games into the season. Whew! Can't wait to see these fundamentals on display in Ft. Worth. So what will it say if we go into TCU and give up 8 sacks and, umm, only 2 turnovers? Is that a direct reflection of this 'awesome' week of fundamental practice? And don't even tell me that we have an advantage because we get 3 more days of getting ready for TCU Joe. Their game is tonight and they can start scheming for our big bad ridiculously complex offense tomorrow.

It really is quite funny when I take a step back and really read what has all been said since August from the head man, then look at has happened on the field.

Might not be another year from us...might not? Holy shit. His staff isn't recruiting during the bye week (while HS teams are playing games). He has scored a whopping 10 points in 4 conference games. He has a losing record during his 6 years at UW...well below .500. Etc., etc., etc. Might not?
