I wouldnt want to be associated with Burman at all right now. He is goingto throw anyone and everyone within reach under the bus as it is careening off a rocky cliff.

I'll disagree. While I don't claim to know Tom's inner thoughts, I doubt DC has reached the point described above. This is his first year calling the plays, he'll have a new defensive coordinator coming in. DC still has a pretty good story to sell recruits on. But I'm only a message board poster and could be wrong. ;)

I told you guys this could be scary. I said Burman might do something stupid. Even more stupid than what he has done.

Anyone who's ever managed other people know the easiest way to get rid of them is to hand them a rope and stand back.

Thing is, the state has the money to be able to pony up some more. It's not like Wy is broke.
But spending money on college athletics won't firm up your tea party conservative credentials. And that is what is important to Wyoming politicians.

That's why there needs to be a major change - and the only ones that can do that are the voters. It's the good ol boy system the way it is now.

Which is pretty damn ridiculous, I mean I consider myself fairly conservative, especially fiscally but god damn, what's the point of having money if all you do is sit on it and don't spend it? i know the state has its other things it has to fund with that but I believe we work with a pretty big surplus.

Most of those people are smart enough to leave on their own. I don't get the impression that Burman is that guy. He will be that guy that you have to attend 3 unemployment hearings for, even though he has been ruled against in every hearing
