Frank was drafted in the 1st round, 8th overall to the defending UFL champions. Birmingham also drafted sheep alum Dallin Holker.

Wait…how does that work!?!? He is signed to the Broncos with a relatively large guarantee for an UDFA. He will be in Broncos camp competing for a roster spot. Does the UFL draft players by guessing who will or won’t make NFL final rosters?

I don't know... I hadn't seen that Crum was cut by the Broncos, so this puzzled me as well.

Rookies just reported today. Everything I have seen indicates that Crum has an excellent chance at least making the practice squad this year and possibly the 52 man roster.

What a silly draft. They should wait until the end of the NFL pre-season to hold it. Spending a first round pick on a guy who more likely than not won’t even play in your league is senseless.

Any league can "draft" any player at any time. Same thing that happened in the USFL NFL, and even MLB for an individual athlete. If that player enters into said league they must play for the team that drafted them.
