Anyone else excited that Craig Bohl feels like Nebraska is an under recruited part of the country? I completely agree with that and have always wondered why Wyoming's line-up doesn't feature more guys from Nebraska. When all the coaching moves are finalized it will be interesting to see just what areas Bohl decides to recruit.

No. That does not excite me. If the right players are there in Nebraska then go get them.

They have a lot of cornfed linemen types that Wyoming needs. I think the kids are in Nebraska => excited.

Probably not the best example, but I have several cousins in Nebraska, they grew up in rural areas, even on farms, but they are not what I would call "big".

You guys are just agreeing with Alyssa because she's hot. If she was 220 and had a bit of a mustache you would admit that are a lot of good football players in Nebraska.

This is coming from a person who has been to Nebraska on a pretty regular basis and has family all over that state, me. Could some be diamonds in the rough? Certainly. However, just because a player comes from Cornland, doesn't mean they are automatically a "hard nosed" player.

When did anyone say that? I said I agree with Bohl that it's an under recruited state and I added that there are a lot of corn fed hogs in that state. You might not think that's the case, but I certainly never said that just because a kid is from Nebraska makes him a division 1 recruit.

True, but if they have any more Jay Novaceks, Jerry DePoysters and the like, send them over.

Seems like players from western Nebraska, ones that can't quite make the team in Lincoln...or even some that can...may see UW as an option now that Bohl & Co. are there.

I wouldn't write off top recruits either. Although not many will come, some might enjoy UW for a variety of reasons. There D-II schools that get top flight recruits for various reasons. Not to say that UW would be overwhelmed with them, but we could be surprised.
