Thoughts on how this season will turn out?
At 16-1 (4-0) they are 18th in the AP and we will find out tomorrow what the coaches think. I just really wanted to turn the focus to them if possible. We are all arguing about what is wrong with our dismal men's team, when we may have one of the best sports programs in school history playing on the same nights!
Yes, its women's basketball, which I never thought I would be really into, but I honestly enjoy myself at their games and watching them on TV more than I have at a men's game in probably half a decade.
This team has a reasonable shot at a top 3, maybe even top 2 seed in the NCAA tournament. We are talking about them being the favorite all the way to the elite eight.
They are currently 7th in the RPI, and 2 weeks ago ESPN had them as a 4 seed.
