I went to a soccer match today.. and stayed through the whole thing! It was double overtime and hot as hell. If any of you ever question my loyalty to Cowboy/Cowgirl athletics after today I'm going to junk punch you. The Griz mascot came over and harassed me.. took my bucking horse hat.. I told him to back off, my football season tickets pay for his scholarship. Stupid bear is lucky he didn't get his ass kicked. Anyways, it was a 0-0 tie (WTF?). Cowgirls were very physical and training at 7200 certainly seemed to pay off today. Cowgirls had some nice scoring chances but couldn't convert. They have one girl #10 freshman Mandy Meyer.. girl is going to be a terrific player for the Cowgirls. Easily the quickest on the field and all over the ball. The goalkeeper Alex Boehm is real tall and a good player to have in the net. This is a really young team and played very well. Here's some pictures I took.
