We almost pissed this one away though. Reminded me a lot of the game in Ft. Collins. We hit a few threes in a row and then all we do is shoot them for the next 10 minutes. If it wasn't for Amath being able to hit those little 10 ft jump shots, we would have been in trouble. He's looking pretty damn good as a sophomore! Cruz seems solid enough. If Des would show some enthusiasm, they would make a pretty good three for the next coach to start with. Hell, I think the playing time is helping all the guys develop. Any way we can climb out of the pigtail? I know it's hard since we couldn't beat Utah.

Just got back from Laramie. Just want you all to know how much fun my truck is to take through the canyon with the new tune on it :thumb: aaaaanyway.
Luster sucks so bad. I hate seeing him on the floor. Jackson doesnt seem to give a shit either way anymore. Mbaye is a beast and can only get better with more coaching. Cruz is a great player he just needs a bit more patience. Hudson can be really good I think. Buedo is playing more like he started now that heath is gone. I really think having a coach who genuinely seems to care about them and encourages them has made a big difference in how they carry themselves.
But in this game almost losing came down to Luster not hitting free throws and throwing the ball away and Jackson half assing it and making dumb plays.
Also Im drawing a blank here but did Adam have a redshirt to use? I wish he would have been kept out this year. I know he saved the game for us tonight but in general being played to early when he was hurt has hindered his game immensely. I swear he has gotten smaller too

I was at the game also. There were some negatives, but there were positives too. The first half defense was some of the best defense I have seen in a long time. It had AF rattled in the first half. That pull up jumper of Mbay's reminds me of Marcus Bailey's - and Mbay is only a sophomore. The officials were determined to even up the foul count - even when it wasn't justified. I didn't think Adam had a good game, but he may have saved it with his block on the last shot and he always plays hard. I would not have used the zone defense as much as we did in the second half. We were leaving too many 3 pt shooters open and they were making them.

Amath is a beast and seems to be Langly's "BOY" it seems quite coincidental to me that he all of a sudden miraculously starts playing well as soon as Langly takes over. Something fishy must have gone on behind the scenes. I think Langly is a SNAKE. I just feel dirty watching him on the sidelines... Wouldn't surprise me if he himself got Schroyer Fired so he could take over and try to get the job himself... Prob has naked pics of Burman or something.

Disagree on point 2, Anthony Stewart should be kept on board. He has the recruiting skills, in-game coaching skills, and is a real "players-coach". He would be an asset to whomever is the HC.

The Cowboys beat fricking Air Force by two points at home. Air Force.
And the fact a cadet has his toe on the line was the only reason the game didn't go OT.
I mean this is a BAD Air Force team.
So we have beaten the worst TCU team in history at home and a very medicore Air Force team at home with a bit of good fortune.
Meanwhile, the guy who a year ago had the most promise of any player on the team continues to fade into oblivion.
Can't wait until next year.
