Cowboys to play Michigan State

I was looking at http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa-14/mtn-west/2014-wyoming-cowboys-football-schedule.php and noticed we are scheduled to play Michigan State. It cites the information as coming from Michigan State. This will be a tough out of conference road schedule but should be fun to see the pokes play Michigan State and Oregon during Brett Smith's senior year.

@Oregon and @Michigan State in the same season? That's gonna be one crazy schedule. Playing in East Lansing will be very difficulty, but not as tough as Oregon. non-BCS schools struggle to keep Oregon under 70 in Eugene.

I look for us to have a special team when Smith is a senior. I hope we're up for the challenge! That will give coach C several years to establish recruiting and it will be at this point where we find out if the pokes can be a great team.

That's a damn fine schedule IF they don't replace Utah State with an FCS team. I don't know about you guys, but I'm tired of seeing us play FCS teams when we should be playing nothing but FBS competition.

I wouldn't be surprised to see New Mexico State at some point in the near future. They are likely to be independent after next year and desperate to fill games on an indy schedule. I would rather play them then an FCS opponent.
