YES!! Bohl picks on NDSU's rival SDSU who was this guys 1st D1 offer. there is more offers now, ndsu of course too. http://www.tboblogs.com/index.php/sports/comments/land-o-lakes-defensive-standout-shaheed-salmon-picks-up-first-offer/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Probably too small for the D-line so must be recruiting him as a LB. The fact that his first offer for any D1 (including FCS) was just about a month ago is a bit worrisome. Also, I am not sure Florida is the place we should be recruiting.

If he accepts, hopefully he pans out!

I am one of Shaheed's coaches. Coach Bohl and Coach Cooper was here today meeting with him, so things are pretty serious. He's one hell of a player, very coachable and knows what it takes to win!! We will see how it turns out!!

CSU has done fairly well in Florida. Thanks for stopping by Coach. Indeed, we'll see how it all turns out!

Well lets get him to WYO!.........

This is a tough one. I hope we are finding overlooked kids that are capable of playing in the MWC.

I know there are probably 5 - 6 kids in a recruiting class of the top FCS programs that could play at the FBS level. Have to hope those are the kids we are going after. We can''t win in the MWC with too many FCS level athletes. So are these guys the top of their class to those FCS programs? will they still be here in 2 years?

Given the Glenn years it is hard to watch but we have to trust these are simply overlooked recruits. Fingers crossed.

First year of short recruiting, I will give the benefit of the doubt. Recruiting is tough enough as it is.

Some guys on here seem to forget that. The kid looks like a pretty good athlete. Quik off the snap, sheds his blockers and hits hard. I bet if he was 6'4" and 245lbs he would have a slew of FBS offers.

Absolutely. If this turns out to be a good class down the road I would be pretty surprised. Next year's class will be the measuring stick.

Sounds like the players coming in the next couple weeks are a step up in terms of fbs offers. AJ Cooper is recruiting his butt off.
