Ageed. I haven't complained about our schedule this year. I was hoping we would be better this year and this would have been our year to prove ourselves but I am not complaining about playing top competition and worring about getting hurt. That just confirms us as a second class citizen. We should be able to compete with those teams. We might not this year but I want us to keep scheduling them. I am not really complaining about the App state series either but am not jumping up and down about going there. Would rather have a more rigorous schedule next year.

They are FBS. Moved up last year or this year. Sunbelt team. Still not a huge fan of going there next year.

I'm behind this 1000 percent. The game is down the road from me about five hours. I love it when the Pokes come to my part of the world. BTW, great scenery and a lot of nice places to check out. Come on out if you have the chance.

I don't think Wyoming fans have any right to complain about "weak scheduling" regardless of what other FBS teams we play. What's been Wyoming's average FBS ranking over the past 15 years? Probably bottom 20%...

Let's face it, until we win 10+ consistently with the schedule we already play, we are the "weak" part of people's schedules.

The distance from Boone to Charlotte is roughly the same as the distance from Laramie to Denver. And Boone is actually a little more than half the size of Laramie at just under 18k.

What if the teams from the Big 5 conferences that we would normally try to schedule have suddenly stopped being so willing to schedule teams like ours? It might not be about our vision so much as it might be about the collective vision of the Big 5 conferences.

I do hope our Athletic Department is transparent about which programs have stopped taking scheduling calls from non-Big 5 FBS schools.
