I tell you what, if you guys can go to Boone for this game, do it. Their fans are a fucking blast. Great place to see a game, great environment, and oh... moonshine. This quickly just moved up my radar for next year.
 
Next year Wyoming will have the weakest schedule that I can ever remember. (weak MWC)

Is this the first trip ever for Wyoming to travel to an FCS location for a game?

So is the vision of the department that we are going to be FCS anyway, so what the fuck?

They are FBS. Moved up last year or this year. Sunbelt team. Still not a huge fan of going there next year.
 
Appy St. made the jump to FBS. We'll be getting some MAC comp, PAC 12 comp, and some Sun Belt comp. This is no worse than going to Texas St. last year.
Everyone complained that we're playing top comp at PAC 12 comp, so here is mid level comp with WSU. I would prefer at least mid level comp from the MAC, but it will do.

Appy State will have had more years in FBS than Texas State did when we played at Texas State.

Thanks for the correction - they do have wrestling too, so maybe we are looking into the future.

I blame Texas State 100% on DC and his inability to adjust on anything football. Oh, and lightning.
 
We bitch that we play "body bag" games and should have easier schedules so as to not get beat up constantly then the same board bitches that we play low level FBS teams. Nothing will please us.

Do you really think the same posters that are bitching about "body bag" games - i.e. games against top competition each week, are the same posters that bitch about pussified schedules like what we have facing us in 2015?

I don't. That just doesn't make sense. I guess some posters may just bitch about everything, and that is on them. But why would a poster contradict him/herself when it comes to the level of competition we play?

I feel the board has had this thread on the basketball side numerous times. Personally, for me, play the best you can. Leave the weak tits to play eachother.
