From Hammond in the Laramie paper today...a good read.

The last part of that article is absolutely true "History has nothing to do with what will happen this year", but you can't convince the Utards of that.

Again with the Utards.... I don't know one Utah fan that is over looking this game, you must still be bitter over 50-0!

Everyone is bitter, somewhat, over 43 - 0 and an onside kick. That sting (and lack of class) will never, ever, fully go away. Regardless of Glenn's infintile statement (and stupid) to a group of literally 30 students the preceeding week, that onside kick was completely classless.

I was told from a Eewtah booster that KW's wife even thought that it was distastefull, and she grounded him from hand jobs in the alley for a whole month. ;)

I'm pleased with how things have gone SO FAR, but isn't it a little early to be patting the team on the back for a job well done?

How 'bout we find out what they've been doing in their bye week and how they're getting the offensive line ready for the steady stream of blitzes they're sure to face for the rest of the year?

Sounds like the staff has been working on this during the bye week (in addition to recruiting). See the thread that MrTitleist just put up on "Changes to the O-Line".

Do doubt that under Glenn UW would have lost to FAU and UNLV but probably beaten either Texas, TCU or BYU (he always had one "where the hell did that come from" victory a year).

I agree, we should not get ahead of ourselves. I am still mad about the CU game, they are horrible and embarassed us. We do seem to be a better team and are at least competitive this year. I do not expect us to win in Utah, it has been a LONG time, we are a very young team (one the youngest) with a new system. I will be happy with a good game, be competitive, stay close and earn some respect. We just need to keep improving and keep fighting. GO POKES!
