Cowboys/Aztecs Game Thread

and this one's over as ACS spends the drive running for his life.. WTF O-Line. What the hell have you guys been doing today?
 
Well...I guess we are playing for the boot this year. What a bummer. However, pretty inspired play. Hope for the future.
 
Agreed, the team played better today than it has most of the season, however, the OL is still a sieve, and the dumb penalties are really hurting the team. How many times was the OL flagged today.
 
Hopefully they don't just give up on the season now and they play it out strong. We were all pretty sure with our ridiculously hard schedule it would be a rough season ad it has been.
 
You know things are bad when fans are happy with a close game against a mediocre SDSU team at home. Yeah, SDSU has some athletes, but they aren't that good of a football team. Backs against the wall at home in a winnable game and the defense shits down their legs. Remember all that talk of putting the Gipson's in man coverage...kind of laughable in retrospect. Best secondary in the MWC? I'm calling bullshit on that one.

You don't give SDSU enough credit they aren't a powerhouse but they aren't mediocre like you say. We definitely got burned on a lot of awful passes unfortunately. I don't think anyone is happy about a close game with a loss were just happy to see the team actually move the ball and gain more then 100 yards in the game.

late in the game, it was a good play call on second and short. marcel got burned with no help from the Safety.

Couldn't agree with you more. We have 2 o-line coaches and our head coach is a ex o-lineman and these clowns look like a bunch of monkey's trying to screw a doorknob. Add in the fact their qb has a bum wheel and we don't blitz. The mental error's to start the last 2 games atrocious. We got a long way's to go to be really competitive in this conference! I'm not happy or impressed with anything this team has to offer right now. Two games in a row this team let get away from them. As far as the boot goes, say goodbye to it as the lambs can chuck it deep. Their FR qb will have a heyday against our db's
