From Northern Wyoming Daily News:
UW grapplers crack Top 25
LARAMIE (AP) — It took a full regular season to do it, but the University of Wyoming wrestling team has finally broken into the Top 25.
The Cowboys were ranked No. 25 in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association/USA Today Division I Team Coaches Poll on Tuesday.
Wyoming spent most of the season in the “others receiving votes” category before finally making the list.
UW finished its dual season last week with a win over Air Force to push its overall season record to 12-3 and to 6-0 in the Western Wrestling Conference.
The Cowboys’ only losses came at the hands of Oklahoma State, Michigan State and Oregon State. Oklahoma State is ranked No. 4, and Oregon State is No. 15.
