From the Casper Star Tribune:
University of Wyoming head football coach Joe Glenn announced in a press release Tuesday that assistant coach Harvey Patton will not be retained as a member of the UW coaching staff.
“Harvey’s past contributions to our program are appreciated, and we wish him the best in his future,” Glenn said.
Patton coached the tight ends the past four seasons. His first year at UW, in 2003, he coached the Cowboys' running backs. He coached the running backs at Montana from 2000-02, served as the running backs coach at Nevada in 1999 and prior to that was running backs coach at his alma mater, Northern Colorado, from 1994-98.
A search will begin immediately to fill Patton’s position. No timetable for filling the position has been established.
