Could TCU have regrets?

Espn reporting that Pitt and Syracuse are leaving the Big east for the ACC. Possibly other schools considering leaving the Big East. Sounds like TCU is jumping onto a sinking ship.

Weather forecast for next saturday looks good. High of 73 and dry. Should be an electric atmosphere at the War.

TCU, SMU, and Houston to the MWC? It isn't any crazier than some of the other rumors.

7:03 and 7:04 we were typing it at the same time... scary!!!

I would like TCU to stay. From a football standpoint, it makes a lot of sense for them to stay in the MWC.
If West Virginia jumps to the SEC, then there won't be a whole lot of football teams for them to play. TCU has to be feeling shellshocked about now.

Great minds think alike, Pokepride!

I don't get it, why would they have regrets. They didn't join the Big East for better competition, because we all know the MWC is better, they joined to have an easier path to a BCS game or Nat'l Champ shot. With schools leaving that will just make it easier, I would think they would be happy about this.

but with Syracuse and Pitt officially leaving for the ACC, this drops the Big Least to 7 football playing schools including TCU, with West Virginia a hot rumor to be the 14th team for the SEC...which would mean there were 6 teams. The Big East must keep 8 teams in the conference to keep their BCS status. This is where TCU is freaking out. Either the Big Least is going to have to find 2 teams FAST or lose their auto-bid
