A double double guy every night if he could hit FTs. As of now, when he takes it to the rack, if and when he's fouled, it's almost as bad as a turnover. If he could shoot 60%, this guy could contribute significantly.
Because he is .346 from the FT line over the games he has played in. While he hasn't taken a lot of shots you can tell when watching him that he doesn't quite have the flow or motion when shooting yet. I'm sure he is working on it but he shoots pretty awkward.
We have to remember he had very Basketball experience prior to UW.
Cooke led his team with 8.4 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game this past season. The rangy 6-foot-9, 195-pound athlete also scored six points per game.
Cooke is going to get rebounds. If he didn't suck shooting FTs, he'd get more time. I would bet you that he's scared to get fouled because he'd have to shoot them. As athletic as he is, I bet he'd be way more aggressive if his FTs were better. He would be good for 2 dunks, 1 put back and 4-7 from the line along with his 16 boards
