Contrary Post Regarding 2025

If it wasn't purely nepotism, then PBJ should take a giant leap forward this year. The bar isn't high nor schedule formidable.
There could be nepotism...and Jay may be a good coach (seems unlikely)
In the absence of nepotism...Jay may be a bad coach.

His ability to coach football is not linked to how much nepotism was or wasn't at play in his hiring.

Whether there is nepotism or not is at best a less than optimal predictor of success in 2025

Difference in opinion. No sense in rehashing.

No need to rehash anything...I though we had established that Nepotism doesn't cause bad coaching but then you said "If it wasn't purely nepotism, then PBJ should take a giant leap forward this year.".

We are all against nepotism

We all want a giant leap forward.

We may or may not have rampant nepotism and we may or may not get a leap forward this year. One thing I do know...if we get a leap forward, nobody who believes that Jay benefited from nepotistic tendencies will suddenly believe that there was no nepotism. And they shouldn't, because his ability as a coach has nothing to do with how he was elevated to his position.
