With the win last night over MWC leading Colorado State, the Cowgirls move into sole possession of 2nd place and should have the 2nd seed for the MWC tournament.
The Cowgirls were picked to finish 8th in the conference and then lost their best player (Liv Roberts) to an ACL season ending injury a few weeks ago. I think Joe Legerski has locked up another coach of the year award!
Cowgirls may be the favorites to win the MWC next year. We will have to see how Roberts recovers.
