Conference win total forecast

Back to the topic...conference wins...

UNLV - Loss
SJSU - Win
@ AFA - Win
CSewe - Win
@ SDSU - Loss
@ Fresno - Loss
Nevada - Win
@ Hawaii - Loss

That is my best guess. Although every one could be a loss, not every one could be a win. 6 & 6, and somebody at UW needs to stop Burman from extending VaJayJay Sawful at the end of the season.

It is how we define winning in Laramie. On the athletics fields/court and in the classroom. We have a lot of purdy buildings that are actually or functionally empty. At some point, we will learn that the folks that work in those buildings are far more important than the imposing edifices we have invested in. Or, maybe we won't.

Minor miracle against Joser too. We didn't beat a single team that finished higher than us in the conference standings. Nevada had same record but won the head to head. 15.6pts/ conf game. throw out the outlier of CSU game and we're at 13.9. disgusting
 
On the plus side most of us in various threads accurately predicted how bad our schedule would be. Depending on the ranking, it ended up around 100-115 sos.

I didn't think even pbj could tank WYO to 4 wins against that mess. I thought the schedule was weak enough that the floor was 5, 6 likely, and homered it up to 7. I didn't think he'd get us back to the basement of cfb but here we are.
 
When I posted the thread we had just got throttled by CU and Utah as expected.

I predicted wins over Nevada, SJSU and CSU with a possibility of UNLV but a likely scenario of 5-7.

Sawful was so close to 6-6 blowing the AFA game with stupid play calling at the goal line followed up with the Nevada game.

Those 2 painful blown chances were the wake up call to build pressure to pay attention to the fact an offense is just as important as playing defense in pursuit of winning because if Wyoming had won those two games we would be in the Arizona Bowl and Sawful would have been elevated to near sainthood by Burman for a spectacular 6-6 (4-4) year and then the same struggle with no change would have been the basis for 2026.

Most Wyoming fans would have been elated to go 6-6 after our expected can’t beat a winner but can lose to a loser 6-6 Arizona Bohl team conditioning.
