Utah St, up and down
Nevada, we'll see where they really are from here out out
SDSU...say no more
New Mexico...still strong but will get beat up
CSU..who cares
Air Force....sneaky still
SJSU, will make some noise
Fresno St...unsure what to think
UNLV...sleeping giant, hate to be the team that wakes them up
Boise St....still a factor, but not with a strong d in their face
Wyoming....jury's out but like where they are now

It's gonna be a fun test from here on out, and anything will happen come conference tourney!!!
GO POKES, time to get after it and shoot the ball!!!

I think it goes without saying that San Diego State is the clear favorite.

New Mexico, Boise State, and UNLV appear to be the next best group. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to be a UNLV fan this year. They clearly have loads of talent, but have looked down right horrible in some games for no apparent reason. Still, they will be dangerous come MWC tourney time on their home floor.

Nevada, Utah State, Wyoming, and Colorado State all seem pretty evenly matched to me. Head to head match ups within this group will be huge in determining who gets the 5th seed and who gets the 8th seed. We absolutely must hold home court against these teams and hope we can steal 1 or 2 games on the road.

I know Air Force has played fairly well to open the conference season, but I'm still not sold on them. I fully expect them to come back to earth over the remainder of the season. In fact, I'd give Fresno the slight edge on Air Force right now. SJSU is down right terrible. I don't want to jinx the Pokes but I really don't see this team pulling out more than 2 wins in conference. Let's hope 1 of those doesn't come against the Cowboys.

Right now, I think the MWC is likely only a 2 bid league...SDSU and New Mexico. Boise State will probably be a bubble team, but they are prone to some bad losses that will ultimately keep them from gaining an at-large bid.

Pretty much agree with everything. Definitely only two teams with at-large profiles right now. I would not be surprised though to see UNLV win the MWCT and for the MWC to get 3 teams in as a result.
