Conference Realignment

I’m still just pissed about what they did to Brett Smith.

I actually hate Matt Campbell for that. I root against him at all his stops for that game

Toledo actually has fans compared to Akron and average 20k per game and for games mid week that is not bad at all.

yeah I think toledo would be a nice addition. we can want to play programs that are better/have bigger fanbases but until we figure out the coaching stench that's lingering around here then we are in no position to want to play bigger and better teams. that would result in 1-11 seasons.

Northern Illinois actually had some fans in their stadium despite them being horrid. Way better than joser

I don't think so; we climbed out of that. This era of futility all stems from losing the WAC Championship game in '96 and not getting a bowl.

But the game at Ohio State was a damned good reward/acknowlegment.

Do they actually get 20K or is this like a San Diego State 20K? Just seems like whenever I see MAC games on TV the stadiums are pretty empty regardless of the team. Also, when I lived in Ohio for a bit, I don't think I ever met a Toledo fan/alum or even ever heard the school talked about. The one MAC school that seemed to be discussed the most there was Ohio, which is interesting because it seems like they're behind both Toledo and Miami (OH) for expansion. Either way....none of the MAC schools interest me one bit. I already hate the one we have now. ha
