Conference Realignment by Geography [Cowboy Altitude]

Geographically it makes sense, though I'd put the Oregon and Washington schools in there instead of the Arizona and Nevada schools, making it a coastal conference.

Seattle's a lot further away from Los Angeles than Las Vegas and Tucson are, which was the point, to more centrally locate conferences. A problem I can see with this realignment that Cowboy Altitude is that Oregon and Washington are still going to be geographic outliers unless he includes schools like Montana and Montana State in with it. Otherwise, I don't think you can regionally fit a conference that includes the two WA schools, two OR schools, two ID schools, then probably the UT schools.

Best one yet, makes a lot of sense. the F_U schools would get their $hit pounded in football, but geographically speaking this one works perfectly.

Agreed. Strong conference. It's not like the F_Us are horrible (like, San Jose St terrible), plus UCF is a strong rising program.

Next up: The more compact ACC

Smash your crack pipe! One is not good enough with one's geography.

Any state that has enough programs to make a conference is it's own geographical conference.
10 teams would make up "The Texas Conference" just like I do it in the video game..........
Texas State and UTSA would soon be added.

California, Ohio and Florida all have enough.
North Carolina and South Carolina have 7. It takes too long to explain how to group them geographically.

I can do a better "geographical" alignment than that guy writing it.

Recruiting would change too.
