Wouldn't NDSU be a better fit geographically for the MAC?

NDSU is screwed geographically as far as trying to move up and join a new conference. Their best geographic FBS fit is the Big Ten, and that ain't ever happening.

I think their best chance is to work with the Missouri Valley to try and move them up to FBS. Five MVFC road trips are closer than the trip from Fargo to Laramie, which is the closest MWC school to Fargo. The MAC is almost as bad.

I would like to see a merger between the Summit League, Missouri Valley and the MVFC. The MVFC currently is basically a combination of teams from those two leagues anyways, might as well take it the next step.

Not true. The Sun Belt reaches out to everyone, everywhere... From Idaho and New Mexico to Georgia and North Carolina. And quite literally everywhere in between. They can be the Suns farthest north team. And the Sun is always happy to add anyone!

The Sun Belt would be a good option. The MWC is nearing the Pac-12, and a middle-of-the-pack Sun Belt team beat SDSU. We all saw what SDSU did to usu and what usu did to BSU. Don't even get started about App. State; ESPN is keeping them down. Juggernaut.

Common sense tells you that the Sun Belt might even be stronger than the MWC, and that is saying something. Luckily we have collaboration among our teams to try to improve each other and they don't. We should surpass them soon. However, if they get NDSU, all bets are off. Might as well be an auto-bid to the NY6 bowl.

Ok, I probably gave them a bit too much credit in the future even if they had NDSU. Common sense says Sun Belt is better this year, but, they could add several top P5 programs and still not catch the rising MWC in coming years. Yes, the MWC will be that good; our collaborations are going to pay off big time!!

The Sun Belt is kicking Idaho out.
