the AA was a fun atmosphere on saturday, old school music etc, good concession prices, i had a good time and beeeting the sheeeep always helps. Question for anyone out there, so with the construction starting, if we get a CBI, CIT game will we most likely be on the road??? that's too bad if so, but time will tell. GO POKES get the REBELS

Agree, was a great time, and marketing dept did a good job with the whole retro thing.

As far as CBI / CIT - yes, it will be on the road.

It was awesome not hearing a single rap song. And the players played better because of it LOL.

Some older rap is okay, but most modern day rap I can't stand. Country, jazz, blues, classic rock, classical music, gospel, doo wop, swing, and even some folk song I like (what can I say, I have an eclectic taste). However, rap, modern pop (some of the older stuff is okay), and what most bands try and pass off as hard rock now a days (yelling, screaming, and or just swearing into a micophone does not count as music to me) I find hard to call music.

Some of the screaming can be a bit much, but metal artists are true musicians. The untrained ear just can't get passed the loud factor. They aren't just singing a song someone else wrote for them, with music that someone else composed.

Metal is some of the most intricate and technically sound music being produced today. I'm not a fan of the growling/screaming "lyrics" either, but the musicianship is undeniably very good.

Case in point. The greatest vocalist of all time in my opinion. He can sing any type of vocals you would want. And the songs are so well structured. The solo at the end. ERMAGERD.

It certainly says something that they had to replace him with 2 guys to get a similar effect.

They indeed are amazing. My night was made last fall when Sevendust all complimented the Steel Panther shirt I was wearing at their show
