Putting a great recruiting class together. And nobody getting all crazy worried about Bohl and the Kansas job.

Kansas job would be a 5 page thread 2-3 years ago

We have offered tons of Minnesota kids. Good strategy. The weather shouldn’t bother them.

Looking forward to seeing Latrell Bible in the brown and gold

Been saying that for years...recruit the northern mid-west!!! Latrell fits UW like a glove.

And you are correct, the whole "hard to recruit to Laramie because of weather" crowd doesn't get that.

Really interesting. For some reason I really trust this staff in recruiting for the most part. Even though it should be scary that it's Wyoming va mostly d2 schools or maybe Air Force. But I trust that bohls staff sees an undervalued group.

How is this years clas compared to a normal Minnesota class? Looks like a couple o lineman to. If power 5 schools but not a lot of skill position p5 talent

Perfect. Athletic 6-6 tight end (with the hair).

No but in reality. This is the type of kid that could be a huge hit. Doesn't have the measurables that say big time D 1 TE. Maybe coaches see something with growth potential

Logan Wilson came in as what a 6-2 200 wr/s

I do, as well. I fell like we are set up well for the future at most positions. Recruiting and player development has been really good with this staff. I see a big, fast, strong team for the most part. This is most of the battle of being a good team.

NOW if we could get some new offensive schemes/coaches/philosophy OR if the current staff can pull their collective heads out of heir butts then we would be a top-flight G5 program.

Overall talent level is just so much higher than so much of the 2000's

The part where they can't get wr's is odd though. They can recruit defensive backs and d line but can't seem to recruit wr's at the same level as most all other position groups. When Wyoming was terrible they atleast had good wr's.

Maybe the receivers aren't as bad as it seems though and it's all scheme and coaching holding them back?

Considering WR is the position where we have the highest average recruiting rating and several of them got offers from P5 schools, but made the mistake of coming here, I'd say it's scheme and coaching.

Really worried Scott's gonna leave.

And go where? He has 1 catch for 17 yards this season, and he has played in every game. Not gonna get a whole lot of offers with stats like that.

I mean, anybody watching our offense will know why he's only got one catch.

We’ll be passing a lot more soon I hope and especially next year. If we have somebody to replace nico, offense could be fun to watch with Sean running the show

yup.... It's scheme. I think we've got talent at all positions, including receiver
