I was hoping there'd be some support from the best state in the union, though I realize that population drives this somewhat too. Guess the question is - if we DO reach $3k for Wyoming, where do people want us to go? Laramie seems obvious, but otherwise?

Has anybody here been down for classes, by any chance? There has to be people here who tinker with electronics (whether radio, GPS, networking, lazerz, blinkenlights, arduinos, or random sensors), right?

I fix all kinds of electronics. Will donate something next week after the bonus comes in.

Awesome :)

I'm going to donate some money for Wyoming as well, just waiting for somebody to actually pay ME for something they should've given me money for several weeks ago.

I should state that this is obviously not a charity. We're passionate about getting people into electronics, no matter what age or background, but obviously the more people that get interested, the more we [potentially - as people can still go to competitors] benefit in terms of an expanded customer-base. Getting more programming and hardware stuff into school curricula means we create a new generation of NASA engineers and inventors. It's time the U.S. becomes recommitted to being the best in the world when it comes to technological innovation. :)
