Positive sign going forward - there are now 5 Bohl recruits (NDSU) invited to the combine in the last 3 years (2014-2016). None of them 3 star recruits, I believe. More evidence that Bohl and staff can find quality talent.

An embarrassment to the combine that Eddie wasn't invited. He's a senior, he's a good kid, he's been a starter for almost 4 years, and has multiple 1st Team All MWC selections.

He wasn't even selected to any of the postseason bowl games, and those are reserved for just seniors. I knew there was no chance he'd make the combine list after seeing that.

I like Eddie as much as anyone here. He's been a great guys for Wyoming. But with Wyo's last two lack luster seasons and teams knowing how good Eddie is and teaming up on him, he hasn't been too productive. He may have been our best guy and one of our most productive guys, but his numbers weren't all that good, unfortunately.

Eddie should get an invite to a camp. And if he had been getting double teamed, it will only help his chances. The NFL will like his motor...not sure about his size however.

Good luck regardless.

Go Pokes!!

It is not a big deal. Eddie can still find his way in.

Ultimately, these players will be given a chance to earn their way in. The Seahawks will start a RB in Thomas Rawls next season, who went completely undrafted and cut TWICE in camps last summer. Rawls/Seattle were clearly a match. My hope for Eddie is not that he gets drafted, but that he finds his match. He deserves a long career in the pros.

At least one of them was a walk-on, too (Joe Haeg). He was 235 lbs as a HS senior OL. Was only getting Division II interest until the summer before his senior year when NDSU/UND became interested. Up to 315 lbs going into this past season.
