He's a brewer, actually. He's rippin' on the beers from Washington compared to Colorado. He's right. We have better beer.

Boulder probably has better weed too.

Actually met him. A lot of people don't like him but he seems like a reasonable guy IMO. Was actually against the legalization, but said he would follow the will of the people.

Yeah, he wasn't in favor, but not strongly opposed either. Obviously, if he felt it was a major problem, he would have rallied whatever forces he could to defeat that measure, or stall its implementation as much as he could.

Not to start a marywanna debate, just pointing out that nationally, the issue is about 50/50. Washington and Colorado are the trial balloons. For those in favor, it better go well, or it will stall out in other states or nationwide.

I find it very interesting that in this state, it wasn't just liberals in favor of it, many conservative/libertarians were in favor of it. Kind of a "get the gov't out of our business" attitude. I'll be curious how it affects states like Wyoming and Nebraska. I could imagine certain carloads of folks coming down to Garden City, CO (small town inside of Greeley..interesting history...they sell recreational pot) from Cheyenne, Laramie, Western Nebraska. That could create problems too.

Okay, my blathering off topic is over... :coffee:

Topic over a beer in Laramie I suppose. Interesting experiment for sure. I support it long story short.

Not the stuff his Wynkoop Brewery makes. It's awful. Try a Left Hand Nitro, especially the "Wake up Dead Porter".

I agree about Wynkoop.

Left Hand in Longmont...my Favorite! Love the milk stout!

Come to Loveland and try out the breweries. There is one called Verboten. Killer good brews. New Belgium...good bottled. But, this is fresh and awesome.

This. Best. Beer. Ever! :agree:

Fully Agree! ...and we can't get it at a liquor store in Cheyenne! I have asked multiple liquor stores as to why they don't carry it. Never heard a decent answer.

Here's what you need to do.

Just say you're a Denver Bronco. They'll deliver some to you!

I have to agree as well. First time I tried Left Hand Brewery I fell in love with it. Haven't been disappointed with one of their beers yet, but I'm only about halfway through trying everything they have to offer.
