College Games 9/20

We have a lot of late games this week, So not much to post about this early.

12:00 PM Eastern Michigan @ #11 Michigan State
So this is the game I'm watching since nothing else interesting this morning. EMU seems to be a run first team, I really don't think watching this game is going to tell anyone anything because EMU appears to be flat out awful.

After 4 possessions EMU has gained 7 yards.... Maybe MSU has a crazy good defense.

I think WYO will put up a better game overall EMU just seems bad. End of the first Q and MSU already using backups.

Offense
MSU is putting up 516 YPG, 348.5 through the air, 167.0 on the ground.
EMU is putting up 244 YPG, 72.0 through the air, 171.7 on the ground.
WYO is putting up 358 YPG, 219.3 through the air, 138.3 on the ground.

Defense
MSU is giving up 368 YPG, 270.0 through the air, 97.5 on the ground.
EMU is giivng up 500 YPG, 284.0 through the air, 216.3 on the ground.
WYO is giivng up 395 YPG, 243.3 through the air, 152.0 on the ground.

I'm more impressed by Hawaii every week, I don't think they are going to blow up the MWC this year but I think they are on the right track moving forward not sure why there would be talk about no more Football.

7:00 PM Utah State @ Arkansas State

8:00 PM New Mexico @ New Mexico State

8:00 PM UNLV @ Houston

Halftime. MSU 49-0. EMU has registered one ("1") total yards. 15 passing and -14 rushing. That's got to be some kind of record in D1.

Ya it's really ugly only thing I learned from this game is MSU has a fast defense but I already knew that.
 
Utes @ Michigan.

Last time Utes played in the Big House they ended up beating teams like Oregon State, TCU, and Alabama enroute to a Sugar Bowl victory.

Utes might find themselves ranked shortly if they can get this win, as they play at home against Wazzu next weekend.
MIGHT, not will, so don't jump down my throat Ute haters.

Do we have Ute haters? I suppose someone hates them here. I always reserve Utah hate for BYU.

Oh we have Ute haters for sure.

A ton of Wyo fans (especially in western Wyo) hate the Utes for leaving the MW for the Pac12.
People hope the Utes lose every game and think moving to the Pac12 was the dumbest thing they've ever done. Then Utah getting DC and Thompson just pissed these Wyo fans off even more.

But I definitely reserve my hate for 3 schools in this order... BYU...CSU... Oregon.

I think given my username and what WyoNation knows about me it is no secret as to why those 3 are the top of my list.

Hating on Utah and TCU for taking advantage of free money, shit we would have done the same exact thing without a second thought. I mean sure at the time we needed Utah and TCU for BCS evaluation but shit hating on them is just dumb lol.

But yes I follow your Order except for Oregon of course I don't hate them I just think they are overrated because of a week D.
 
San Jose State has given up 222 rushing yards in first half, trail Minnesota 17-7.

Minnesota 1st half passing: 0/2, 0 yards

edit just as i typed this SUU threw a pick 6 to FRE.
 
We can beat SJSU and FRE, Nevada is going to win the west by default, The MWC is pure trash this year. Like this would be the easiest year to win a MWC title but i'm not sure how good it would feel to beat these teams.

I live in SLC. I hate Utah. I hate BYU. I hate them both equally. When they used to play I would hope for a 0-0 tie.

Ute fans are pricks. Biggest bunch of bandwagons douches you've ever seen.

I will cheer for anyone playing Utah every single time.

I hate Utah cause of Urban's onside kick (which many probably forgot), I hate them for Whittingham's onside kick, I hate them for copying Miami's "U" sign with their hands, I hate them for their cheapshot players. I hate them now for seeing DC's smug face and his douche-visor and glasses on the tip of his nose, I hate them for going out of their way to honk and laugh at my UW logo on my truck, I hate them for fans confronting me in stores for having UW apparel on (I don't even know these assholes).

That said, I don't dislike watching their team play football. But unfortunately the pricks fans and coaches have tainted that red logo. Screw Utah. Best of luck to TCU.
