...on Saturday. NDSU travels to Missoula to play the Griz on ESPN. Musberger and Jesse Palmer on the call. Cool way to start the season, I'll be watching. Hope the Griz can make it interesting. Watching NDSU bully the FCS level for 4 years now has gotten a tad boring.

I've already started drinking in preparation for the game.

Griz should be really really good on defense. May have the best secondary in the FCS. Bob Stitt is the new head coach which means we get his offense.. faster than Oregon's, but not as similar in design. No one really knows what to expect and he's been closing practices and scrimmages. New quarterback, Brady Gustafson from Billings West. Wide receiver duo could be tops in FCS with Ellis Henderson and Jamaal Jones, plus 5th year transfer Ben Roberts who was from Missoula, but played 4 years of baseball at Washington State. He holds a lot of Montana HS receiving records. No tight ends, no fullback.. 4 wide all the time. Offensive line may do them in though, injuries and depth are bad. Should be a fun season.. starting off by punching these clowns from Fargo in the mouth would send a loud, clear message to the FCS.

Well with his system...doesn't it cover for a weaker line?

Suppose without his personnel.....probably not sure what you will get. Can't wait!

Wow, that's an interesting wrinkle to this game. UM is typically one of the few FCS programs that runs a traditional pro-style/spread-ish system. 4-wide every down? That might confuse NDSU more so than trying to beat them at their own game.

I'm sure the media whines, but I like the move of closing scrimmages, etc. Make sure NDSU has nothing going into that game.

Should get the ball out in a hurry.

And also, the SEC Network guys are calling the game for ESPN since Musberger lives a few miles down the road from her.e
