College Football Rankings 1-119

CFN has been more off then anyone else in the country. You should of seen where they has South Carolina. The only polls I care about are the ones that matter. The Harris Poll, Coaches Poll, and the BCS Poll. The coaches seem to think Hawaii is the 14tyh best team in the country. Who do you believe? CFN, or the coaches? ;) 8-)

I agree.... I would say the coaches are closer to the truth but honestly who knows how good the Rainbows are. I just wish they could have a real schedule so we would all know. I know, J-Rod, before you yell at me, that it was hard to get teams to play them, we can relate to that, but the fact remains that their schedule is WAY to weak to be in the top 15 teams in the country. I am sure it is frustrating for them becauswe they are doing all they can on the field. We will see how it turns out. ps.. I know it's the WARRIORS now.. but they will always be the Rainbow warriors to me.. :)

True, but we cannot control that now, we just have to play hard, you should see the list of teams that chickened out of paying UH this year, Michigan, Nebraska, and LSU are a few.

The one good thing for my Warriors is the heavy number of undefeated teams that are falling every weak. Ohio State and Boston college may lose this week. Leaving us and Arizona State as the only teams left that can run the table.

We just have to keep winning, if we end up 12-0 we will get into a BCS Bowl game, Its weird how similar our season is to Boise's run last year. Boise nearly lost to San Jose State, Wyoming, New Mexico State, Hawaii, and a few others. They proved if you can finish the job you will get the opportunity to play a big time team on the national stage. But for now......we play one game at a time.....

True, Don't get me wrong, I am not bashing your team... It sucks no one would play you, that is a complement. I cheer for them since we used to be in the same conference. You are right that their year is much like Boise State's run last year. Ths is the year to make a run, since everyone is getting beat. Good luck....

Thanks, I didn't think you were bashing them, even if you were I'm used to it. There is nothing positive said about the Warriors through the media right now. :( That will change when we put up 68 points on Fresno again in 2 weeks......and then the poor Ian Johnson-less Bronco's come to town :P I'm looking forward to it.

After we play NMSU all our games will be ESPN for the rest of the year.

The Nevada game in Reno on November 16 will be interesting. Might be played in a snowstorm. The game will be on ESPN2 at 7:05 Mountain Time. Hawaii has never won at Nevada so....

The Boise State @ Hawaii game on November 23 will be on ESPN2 was well. Game time will be 7:05 Mountain Time (4:05 Honolulu time).

The Washington @ Hawaii game on December 1 will be on either ESPN or ESPN2 (my guess is ESPN2). No word on a game time.

True. :D

CFN lost all their credibility today.

Hawaii 42 ... San Jose State 35 OT
Colt Brennan hit Jason Rivers for a two-yard touchdown on Hawaii's overtime possession, and then Myron Newberry sealed the win with an over-the-shoulder interception on San Jose State's possession to cap a furious comeback. Down 14 with fewer than four minutes remaining, Hawaii got an 11-yard Davone Bess touchdown catch, and went 45 yards in eight plays leading to a two-yard Brennan touchdown run with 31 seconds in regulation to put it into overtime. Hawaii scored the first 14 points, and then San Jose State went on a 28-point run thanks to an 84-yard Dwight Lowery punt return for a score and a 24-yard interception return for a touchdown. Kevin Jurovich lit up the third quarter with touchdown catches from 16 and 68 yards out, before Hawaii broke the run on a 34-yard C.J. Hawthorne scoring grab. Hawaii outgained San Jose State 601 yards to 344.
Player of the game: Hawaii QB Tyler Graunke completed nine of 11 passes for 246 yards and three touchdowns, and he ran for a score.
Stat Leaders: San Jose State - Passing: Adam Tafralis, 27-47, 302 yds, 2 TD, 3 INT
Rushing: James T. Callier, 13-30, 1 TD. Receiving: Jacob French, 8-65
Hawaii - Passing: Colt Brennan, 44-75, 545 yds, 4 TD, 4 INT
Rushing: Kealoha Pilares, 10-52, 1 TD. Receiving: Ryan Grice-Mullen, 14-175, 1 TD
Whoopty doo. What does it all mean, Basil? ... Hawaii might not have come up with the performance it wanted on national TV against San Jose State, but the team showed great heart in being able to comeback in the clutch on a muddy field. Even though Colt Brennan didn't go lights out, he showed Heisman-worth with his play in the final five minute and in overtime, and along the way, set the D-I record for the most career touchdown passes. Any time you beat Ty Detmer for an all-time record, you're doing something amazing

WHAT???????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Tyler never stepped on the field!!!!!!!!!!!! CFN has lost it!!!!

Graunke didn't play against San Jose? Who did he play against?

Tyler didn't play at all against San Jose. CFN thought he played but Colt Brennan played the entire game.

Ahh.. sweet. We're having a nice bitch-fest on eGriz about a sports writer ourselves. The guy was hired this year to write about ALL 1-AA teams.. but he seems to only cover Appalachain St., his favorite team. The guy is a total dick too.
