The Houston thing was a bluff on his part as an attempt to get more money. Houston was not interested in him.

Houston offered him the job. Where do you get your information?

A very reliable source

Who gives a shit? He was offered, and then signed a UW extension. He is here, and should have the best season he has had since he has been here. He will stay here through Brett Smith at least. Probably longer. Then so what if he goes to a bigger and better school? Should we chase him out of Laramie right now because he wanted more money? Because he might not think Laramie, Wyoming and the University of Wyoming is the best job in the world?

I read somewhere he is making 1.2 M w/incentives, man I could put up with a lot of shit for that kind of coin. He leaves, we can hire someone else with that bankrole. Probably why they are charging 40 damn bones for a shitty OCC game where they should be giving away tickets. Shitty OCC game during hunting season will lucky to break 20-22k at 40 bones a pop. It is nice to see that we are paying more on the league mid/high side since L town is so much harder to play/recruit/live than say 95% of D1.

My opinion is the main reason our ticket prices are high & going higher is because our state legislature and governor are failing to fund the university and athletic department the way they need to be funded while still stuffing around a half billion dollars into rainy day accounts and spending nearly 100 million on redecorating the state capitol building.
