Coach Shyatt Letter To The Fans

I want to take a moment of your time to thank you for your support of Cowboy basketball and what that support has done for us. You created an atmosphere for the CSU and San Diego State games that was very special to us. Our kids have done a great job of focusing on each task at hand, and we have two big challenges this week. We are beginning to believe that we can be successful away from the Arena-Auditorium, and we very definitely believe we can win at home. Both the TCU game on the road Wednesday night, and the UNLV game in the Double A Saturday afternoon are very big games for this program. As I mentioned to you earlier we look at this season as a journey and each game is a stop along that journey. We have certainly enjoyed the trip to this point and hope you have too. I believe Saturday’s game with UNLV will be one of the bigger men’s basketball games the Double A has seen in quite awhile. There is no question that the Rebels are among the elite basketball programs in this country, and are ranked 11th nationally heading into this week. We are going to need each and every one of you in our building Saturday. The atmosphere needs to be even more electric than it was for Colorado State. Our marketing staff is calling it the “Quest for 10,000” and I believe our fans can meet that challenge. I can assure you of this, the Cowboys will give you everything they have, and we look forward to you doing the same.

Again, thank you for embracing this team. We work hard to be a reflection of you and this great state. We can’t wait to see everyone in the Arena-Auditorium on Saturday afternoon (2 p.m.). Let’s pack the Double A!

Go Cowboys!

I'll try and go, and hopefully I can keeo getting goof seats (seats I've been getting are right next to the entrances).

I would put it in my facebook, because I have a lot of contacts in Laramie and other parts of Wyoming.

Though, one of my oldest friends (went from preschool through high school together) not only went to BSU, but than transferred to ASU (track team).

Like many have said.....UW needs that marquee win to bolster its tourney chances. Getting 10K for the UNLV game would go a long way to helping that cause.

I'll put a link on the WyoNation Facebook to this thread, then you can "share" that link on your Facebook.
