Coach Glenn

I sure enjoy seeing him with the MTN. That smile during the post game show could be seen from orbit. His heart sure is still with the Pokes.

He's a pretty excitable guy anyways, but this probably made him pretty happy... that, and the fact that UW is probably still paying his buy-out.

There is a rumor that the UNC coaching position currently has three names in the hat, Wristen from CSU-P, Stitt from Colorado School Of Mines, and Joe Glenn.

This is off another board for what ever it is worth.

Joe has no interest in coaching again. Maybe they meant to list Marty.

Kind of what I thought, and yeah the "other" rumor is that Marty and Wristen are the two names in right now. Seems a bit of a stretch to think of Joe going back to Greeley, but I bet there are folks wishing down there.

Absolutely. Last time they had a real winner. 2 National championships there, right?

Hard not to want that back...

Joe does have some interesting in coaching again, if the situation is right.

That's not true. He's just waiting for the right opportunity. I'm not sure if that's UNC or not, but he could end up somewhere.

You quoting an article from 8 months ago? Let me say this differently...he has no interest in coaching UNC, FCS, FBS football.

Let me back up a second...

I guess everything should be taken in the context of the word. "Coaching". Yes, he has an interest in coaching...as in helping out one of his buddies (former UW recruiting coordinator Ron Wisniewski) that is the HC at a HS in AZ (Mesa Red Mountain High).

Coaching at UNC, or the equivolent FCS, or even in the FBS, no interest...thank you.

Think you are underestimating his interest. Not saying he wants to go back to UNC but he hasn't been worn out on coaching and would be happy to listen to possiblities.

Like Poke Around said, you're not understanding the article.
