Coach Bohl Post Game press conference

I just got done saying in a different thread that Bohl said the word disappointed 11 times in his presser.

He knows how I feel.

Will the team respond and slap EMU around? Will they get steamrolled? Or will it be an even shit show?

Yeah. You can tell he knows the crap hit the fan today and things need to change quickly. I'm not jumping off the band wagon and it is just one game hopefully we respond the next few games a lot better and maybe North Dakota will end up being a top 5 FCS team (probably not but I am hoping to make it not feel as bad)

Now that I've had a chance to calm down a bit, it was still a shit show, but many of the things can be worked out. The only question is, how long will it take? There really was no excuse for the offense (most of which, if they were not starters, did have experience) twiddling their thumbs for 3 quarters or the d-line (all of which played last year, if not started) not getting any pressure in the backfield until Yarbrough's sack.

The offense showed in the 4th they can get going, but they need to get going in the first quarter. The d-line, that's been an issue for several years now.

Cameron Coffman, while only having a 51% completion, threw for 270 yards and 2 TDs with not INTs. If the offense had actually done something in the first 3 quarters, he most likely would have had well over 300 yards.

I don't see how our O line and D line getting utterly dominated is going to work itself out. The line is the foundation of a football team. Brian Hill and Wick could be Emmett smith and Barry Sanders and it wouldn't matter with the way our line got whipped by a D-2 school.

And Mulhardt needs to tell the coaches to let Murphy, Doddles and what ever freshmen that are 2x faster play.

Which, quite honestly, is a breath of fresh air (so to speak) compared to the blameless attitude of Christensen, and the "awe shucks we'll get it together" attitude of Glenn. He's owning the failure and expressing a certain urgency.
